Is a dermatologist administered 15%TCA+3% Glycolic Acid peel safe while trying to conceive?

I plan to have my second application of a 15%TCA+3% Glycolic Acid chemical peel in about a month, with my dermatologist. I’m currently trying to conceive. The appointment date falls around the date of my expected period (or no show period, depending). Is this peel safe while in the process of trying to get pregnant?

It is too early for peeling at day 3. Usually TCA peels turn dark during day 2-5 and on day 6-8 they start to peel on the face. The darkness is the dead skin getting ready to peel  off so everything looks normal so far.

It is not recommended to do ANY inflammatory acid peels at home let a lone this which is way too strong for anyone to do in a large area and UNSAFE.  try an at home peel with cosmelan or enlighten.  Best, Dr. Emer.
