Horizontal lines across mid-cheeks. Does anyone have any advice? (Photo)

This can be improved with with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra, which would also give improvement in facial balance and symmetry. Implants or fat are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Thank you for your photograph. I must agree with your plastic surgeon that the line you are seeing is simply a facial ligament which becomes visible when you loose a little fat from cheeks and when you skin becomes a little saggy.  Using dermal fillers is the first step, but I have had success by using Sculptra Aesthetic collagen builder injections, which tighten the skin and add a little volume to soften the appearance of the lines. I suggest you read about Sculptra and find an expert provider in your area. Please do not get upset or frustrated. All these things help you look better. Hi and thanks for your question. I agree with your plastic surgeon that this line is due to natural lig you have and can get worse by aging , loosing weight or loosing the skin.Injection filler can improve it but not completely resolve. Do not get obsessive about it as this is natural and many people have this line even without aging .
