This lower belly bulge seems impossible to remove. Am I a candidate for a mini tummy tuck? (Photos)

Question

I’m female, 33 years old, 5’5” and weigh 130 lbs. I’ve had two kids and now have extra skin in my lower abdomen. I do have extra skin above my belly button but I don’t really care all that much about that. I’ve been going to the gym and this lower belly bulge seems impossible to remove. I don’t want a full tummy tuck. I have a stressful job plus young kids and I just can’t go through a recovery that intense. Is there any chance for a mini tummy tuck with a shorter recovery?

Unfortunately despite hard work, diet some pregnancy changes are stubborn.

Lose skin is best addressed with a full tummy tuck rather than mini. And Vaser ultrasound/ Smart Lipo laser liposuction will probably not tighten skin emoji for your goals.

We have many patients who do not need muscle repair and get very nice results with skin only tummy tuck.

This makes recovery much easier and shorter.

Thank you for sharing your question and photograph and returning to such great shape after your pregnancies. Nothing replaces an in-person  examination of your tissues but it appears you could have a nice improvement with a mini-tummy tuck procedure to address the excess skin and lax muscles of your lower abdomen.
