I had an injection done wrongly when I was little so the needle broke off in my butt they got it out but left a deep dimple scar. I am female from Nigeria, accessing quality remedies have been had to find. I am 23yrs old and have this butt scar dimple since in was 10.

This scar would likely be well treated by removing the scar tissue and releasing the underlying band which is causing the dimple.  Then we could add either fat or a filler like sculptra to lift the skin out to a smooth contour.

Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Patients should start Melarase AM and Melarase PM for active hyperpigmentation. Always begin with a consultation to decide whether early subcision should be started.

Hi,
Your scar is mature and has some tethering to the deeper tissues. It needs an operation to cut around the scar and close the skin over the scar. It will could be done under local anaesthetic but will leave a longer scar. Some residual depression in the scar may be present.
