Juvederm Injections one day Cataract Surgery the next. Is that OK?

I am having Juvederm injections on tues around mouth, but I am also scheduled to have eye surgery (cataract) on wed.. Simple procedre with the eye, with lens replacement.

Dear Carrie,Although there is no theoretic problem with having Juvederm injected around your mouth one day before your cataract surgery, you should discuss this with your ophthalmologist to make sure that this is ok.

I wouldn't do it.  What if you have a complication with the Juvederm like a blockage of a blood vessel or an infection.  Too close together for my comfort.  Nothing is simple in medicine.  Something can always go wrong.

I would not recommend having other facial procedures immediately following filler injections of the face.  The filler takes several days to incorporate into the tissues and, until then, can be massaged and moved.  No chance of this is not great with the procedure you're having, I would prefer not to take the chance of having the filler move
