No, this won't help thin your face. Buccal fat excision is an appropriate surgical procedure for patients that of overly full and wide cheek areas. In common terms, it is good for patients who have chipmunk cheeks. Liposuction can be used to further slim the face. In reviewing your pictures, is difficult to tell if you're a good candidate because your cheek area is slightly full but not overly full. You are a patient that would need an in person consultation for a complete evaluation and explanation of the positives and negatives of these procedures in your situation.

Hello,Thank you for your question and photo. Unfortunately chewing gum will not thin the face. In fact it will increase the masseter muscle which can make the jawline look larger. You could consider Botox/Dysport in the masseter, this will make the muscle smaller and make the lower face thinner. Please consult with a local physician to make sure your a candidate for the procedure. Good luck!
