No, this won't help thin your face. Buccal fat excision is an appropriate surgical procedure for patients that of overly full and wide cheek areas. In common terms, it is good for patients who have chipmunk cheeks. Hello,Thank you for your question and photo. Unfortunately chewing gum will not thin the face. In fact it will increase the masseter muscle which can make the jawline look larger. You could consider Botox/Dysport in the masseter, this will make the muscle smaller and make the lower face thinner.
