so i see this huge debate between surgeons, some say you need to be massaging one day post op and pretty much everyday for a week or two. but most surgeons in my area just recommend compression and lymphatic drops, cause your body will drain on its own. i’m not a doctor so idk but in a way it makes sense to let your body just heal vs applying all this pressure to inflamed areas. is massages even necessary or just a gimmick so you spend more?

Depending on the body part where you are getting a lymphatic massage, your therapist or aesthetician should be able to work with you in different body positions. Or, a pillow under your knees might allow you to lie on your back, depending on your issues
