4 weeks after abs lipo. I feel a couple lumps under skin although they are not visible. Just learned that I should have had lymphatic massage. Is it too late to start now to erase the lumps? What if I can’t afford the lymphatic massage?
Answer: LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MASSAGES AFTER LIPOSUCTION. Hello angelinelovelace, It’s a pleasure to answer your questions! Plastic surgeons should advise their patients that, without lymphatic drainage massages, there is a risk that the swelling and inflammation could turn into fibrosis, which is a permanent hardening of the area. At least ten lymphatic drainage massage sessions are required, starting 24 hours after the procedure, to eliminate excess lymph fluid, alleviate swelling and discomfort, and also prevent complications such as seromas (fluid collection) and contour irregularities (indentations, and/or fibrosis). Since every case is different, consult with your plastic surgeon about your specific needs and concerns. Best regards, Dr. De La Cruz.

Answer: Liposuction After care includes RF treatments (Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra) Cellutone/zwave, hyperbaric oxygen, lymphatic massage No, it may not be too late. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen along with your lymphatic massage and your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Is it too late for lymphatic massage 4 weeks after lipo? Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. You are still on time to benefit from lymphatic massages. Keep in mind that you are still early on the healing process, at the stage you are in, lumps are normal, so please be patient. It can take up to six months to see your final results. I suggest my patients to use a full body compression garment, 24/7 for the first 3 months, and after that, for 12 hours a day for 3 more months and to try the lymphatic massages, to get the best results. If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon. Good luck :)

Answer: Is it too late for lymphatic massage 4 weeks after lipo? Might be too late! But you can try at least 12 sessions. I doubt you will see much improvement this late but worth a try. I might also recommend external ultra sound therapies.
