Botox is not typically used to treat chest lines. A skin resurfacing treatment may help to give you the best results. Ensure you have a consultation with a plastic surgeon or dermatologist and do your research before committing to the treatment. All the Best.
Botox is not the ideal treatment for the lines on the chest. Sculptra increases collagen and repairs elasticity in the skin. This would most likely help as well as pixel treatments to stimulate superficial collagen and emprove the texture.
While Botox can help with creases and lines on the chest, non-surgical Ultherapy has just been FDA-Approved to treat wrinkles in the chest area! Fillers and laser skin resurfacing could also be viable options. Ask your doctor which treatment is best for you.
Best to post a photo - but this is an unusual place for botox and certainly an off licence application. Creases on the chest may be better treated by peels / laser or surgical excision. Once creases have developed and there are deeper lines botox is not really effective. Make sure to consult with a experienced PS.
Withouta picture it is difficult to say what might improve the wrinkles on your chest.I have injected Botox into the chest to improve wrinkling and my patients havebeen very happy. Ifit’s the underlying muscle that is causing the wrinkling then injecting Botoxwill relax the muscle and improve the wrinkling.Ifthe wrinkling is caused due to laxity and damage to the skin then perhaps aresurfacing treatment would be best.Consultwith a Board Certified Dermatologist to see what procedure is best for yourconcerns.
The skin of the chest wrinkles due to sun damage and loss of collagen or solar elastosis. it is not due to repetitive muscle contraction which is the cause of deep wrinkles in the upper face for which Botox is useful. You may consider LASER resurfacing and sun protection for your chest wrinkles.
Botox is approved to treat dynamic wrinkles or wrinkles produced by actively moving muscles in specific areas of the body. To date, Botox is not approved for use on the chest. Theoretically, it might work in areas not yet FDA approved.
Botox works on dynamic muscles. Most often on the chest people get lines, wrinkles, and creases from sun damage, and not from muscle movement. So, if you look in the mirror and you have the lines when you are standing still doing nothing, then these would be static lines that Botox cannot treat. If you have the creases only when you are moving muscles, then Botox could be an option, though this would be extremely off-label. I would more likely recommend a fractional laser treatment like InMode Fractora to treat your chest lines and creases, which I much more assume is from sun.
