Currently 5’ 00”, 145lbs, 34AA. I have had implants before, a year ago that were 250cc which I always felt they were too small. I was a small B. I have uploaded my try on with 300/350cc to accommodate my smaller side. And 400/450cc for reference. The top image is me currently. I don’t want to look not proportionate or too heavy as I do have a larger back side and wide hips.

Answer: Choosing large implants Choosing excessively large implants increases the chance of undesirable, side effects, complications, and the need for revision surgery. It is each plastic surgeon responsible to guide you through the implant selection process. Obviously, some plastic surgeons do this better than others. There seems to be some pictures missing. if you want to minimize the need for problem, then avoid implants that are dramatically larger than your natural breast diameter before surgery. It’s not appropriate for us to tell you what size implant to use. Each provider has their own way of doing this. My own preferred method was to work with before and after pictures to get a clear understanding of what the patient was hoping to achieve as their final outcome or look. Once we had a set of wish pictures that were appropriate and representative, I would bring those pictures with me and use them during surgery. During surgery I used temporary scissors to determine what size implant will create a result, consistent with what the patient had showed me and is represented by the images I brought with me to the operating room. I usually have a complete set of implants available at my disposer during surgery and will select the implants based on the use of sizers. Plastic surgeons do this differently. Some plastic surgeons will have the patient decide and some plastic surgeons will make the decision based on input from the patient in regards to what they’re hoping to achieve. In my opinion, the plastic surgeon is in a better position to make the final Implant choice as long as they have a clear understanding of what the patient is hoping to achieve. I cannot emphasize the importance of provider selection when it comes to this or any plastic surgery procedure. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
