My eyelashes were fairly short and unimpressive before Latisse, and while Latisse has lengthened them, it has not darkened or thickened them to my knowledge. Latisse has also caused my lashes to be fairly brittle.I want to limit my Latisse use from daily to 4 times a week. Is it safe to use Castor Oil and/or Rapid Lash on the days I don't use Latisse? I think the issues started when I started using a fiber lash mascara, that's when I noticed breakage (but I fear I might have convinced myself)

Answer: It would be best to continue with one product at a time.
Latisse is used to help your lashes grow rather than fall out. However, you will still experience natural shedding of your lashes as they will still be going through the natural hair growth phases.
You can remove the hair as you wish and though new hair growth may occur, these hairs should return to their original growth pattern once the effects of Latisse wear off. Make sure to only apply a tiny amount of Latisse on the upper lash line and nowhere else to prevent this from happening again.
