I am just curious as to what may have happened in this scenario. My nostrils are very uneven. My doctor said it was "[RS bleep] Luck" and that it was not something he did during surgery although it has been uneven since the cast came off. Is it differences in the height of the medial crura? Would shortening the longer medial crus help or would adding filler to the shorter side help even out the nostrils? I have not had steroid shots but I am not sure this is due to scar tissue. Would they help?

According to the operative report, your surgeon used non destructive(no cartilage cutting or excision) techniques; suture tip techniques are generally reversible, therefore modification of your tip is possible.
Your tip should be viewed with respect to the rest of the nose as well as your face...
Thank you for your question. You do not have to have steroids after a rhinoplasty. Although they can help with swelling, it isn't an absolute necessity. I hope that helps, and best of luck to you.
