Got hit a few times on the nose and just recently. Been having issues breathing since then . My septum is very crooked and collapsed on one side. Will it help straighten it out where the bump is on th left side
Answer: Septoplasty Septoplasty alone is unlikely to remedy this situation. You definitely need to see a surgeon well-versed in rhinoplasty. Given your history of trauma and breathing issues, I suspect that you may have disrupted some of the cartilaginous attachments in your nose and may require more than just a septoplasty.

Answer: Rhinoplasty Septoplasty alone may improve your breathing but it won’t straighten your nose. You need a full rhinoplasty but even in that case your nose might not be perfectly straight

Answer: Septoplasty, will it help breathing and straighten my nose A septoplasty is performed in the back of the nose to improve air flow dynamics, and does not change the shape of the nose whatsoever from the outside. You're going to require a cosmetic rhinoplasty procedure to change the outside of your nose. From the limited photograph it appears that you're also going to need spreader graft composed of your own cartilage placed underneath the concave upper lateral cartilage in the mid portion of the nose to help straighten it. Choose your surgeon wisely based on extensive experience, since rhinoplasty is the most difficult operation to perform correctly in the entire field of cosmetic surgery. Both a septoplasty and a rhinoplasty are routinely performed together under one anesthesia with one recovery.

Answer: You can breathe Hello, thanx for the question. After septoplasty procedure you will be breathin very well. But the septoplasty won't fix your bump. For this we need to perform rhinoplasty. So, wee need to rasp, burr etc. to straigthen the bump. Thank you.
