I’ve heard a lot of bad things about nose jobs with filler and how serious damage to the nervous system is possible. How likely are those effects if one was to go to an experienced plastic surgeon? I want filler in the tip and root of my nose and only want small changes so I wouldn’t consider a full nose job
Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: This depends on the experience of your doctor and the type of filler that is used. In a small number of cases, some people may experience dead skin, embolus, blindness, and stroke after HA injections to the nose. In our practice, We prefer to use microdroplet silicone 1000 which is not associated with these problems. With any injectable filler, there is a possibility of nodules bumps or overcorrection. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph

Answer: Non-surgical nose job Injectable fillers are commonly used to improve the appearance of the nose, as they can add volume, fill in depressions, and contour the shape. While the use of fillers in the nose is generally safe, there are potential risks and complications associated with any medical procedure. Some of the potential risks associated with nose jobs with filler include: Infection: Like any procedure that involves injections, there is a risk of infection. Your doctor will take steps to minimize this risk by using sterile equipment and following proper injection technique. Nerve damage: Injecting fillers into the nose can cause temporary or permanent nerve damage, which can result in numbness, tingling, or even loss of sensation in the area. This risk is higher when the injections are performed near nerve endings. Vascular complications: Injecting fillers into the nose can potentially damage blood vessels, which can lead to skin necrosis (death of skin tissue) or blindness. These complications are extremely rare, but they can be serious. It is important to note that these risks can be minimized by choosing an experienced plastic surgeon who has extensive training and expertise in performing nose jobs with fillers. Your doctor will also take into account your individual anatomy and medical history to determine if you are a good candidate for the procedure. If you are considering a nose job with fillers, it is important to have a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate your individual needs and provide guidance on the best treatment options for you. Best of luck !

Answer: Non-surgical nose job with filler. required medical expertise in facial anatomy and managing complications. Hi, Thanks for your question. Dermal filler treatment is a medical procedure that should be performed by an experienced doctor/surgeon with deep knowledge in facial anatomy, including vascular anatomy. The vascular structure on the nose is very peculiar, and any little mistake could result in severe complications such as blindness or tissue necrosis. These complications are rare if the treatment is performed by an experienced doctor, as they can reduce and eventually manage possible complications. On the other hand, in my experience, dermal filler in the nose is a very rewarding treatment with satisfactory results if there are no complications and with the right patient. I personally prefer to treat the root of the nose and try to treat the tip of the nose at a minimum or avoid it in some cases, where the vessels are very close, and the risk of vascular occlusion with the filler is higher, although this is quite rare. I strongly recommend finding an expert doctor to discuss your concerns, make a proper facial assessment, and discuss a bespoke treatment plan. Hope this helps. Best wishes, Dr Giuseppe Fiore
