What can be causing numbing, tingling, and mild tightness in breast 10 months post-op?

Question

I have 415 round silicone on both sides under the muscle. I engaged in an activity with repetitive motion that may have caused stress to or around the implant. Felt irritation immediately afterwards, but no pain or swelling. Week and a half later and I still feel numbness, mild tingling, and mild tightening. I have informed my surgeon and am looking for more information. Nerve pain? Early leak symptoms? Or early capsular contracture?

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Your implant is probably a little large for your space and placing stress on your muscle. You might be developing a capsule, so I would have your surgeon check you. This is not a sign of leaking. If it continues and is related to your implant, you might consider going smaller.
