Why is my nose has dent and crooked after rhinoplasty (osteotomy & tip plasty)? (Photos)

I’m in deeply depressed after I made a huge mistake that I choose wrong doctor, my nose look mess up right now along with my breathing problems which I never had , Please tell me why my has couple dent on my both side of the bridge and my breathing getting worse :( I got it done in LA . Thank you

Thank you for your question. I'm sorry you're going through this. In plastics, we call this an inverted V deformity. It's caused by the cartilage higher up in the nose creating a pinching effect, which in turn reduces airflow. Fortunately this can be treated, often with small cartilage grafts. Hi! Sorry that you're experiencing trouble with your nose. I do see what you're referring to. Sometimes, when osteotomies (breaking of the nasal bones) are performed, it is done too aggressively and it can lead to a pinched appearance. Furthermore, the newly-moved bones can crowd inside the nose leading to breathing trouble. If cartilage is also removed in key spots, breathing can worsen. There are options. It's important, if you're comfortable, to voice your concerns with your surgeon. A thorough evaluation of your nose, particularly on the inside, is necessary. Revision rhinoplasty to focus on better structure and breathing may be needed. I hope this is helpful!

Based on your photos, it appears that the middle portion of the nose is narrow where you have the dents.  That would cause the airflow in your nose to be decreased and would explain your breathing difficulties.  You would likely need cartilage to be placed to make the airway in  your nose bigger to allow air to pass more easily.  I would recommend consulting with a board-certified plastic surgery with extensive experience in rhinoplasty.

From your photos, I note that your high nasal bridge has been lowered as the result of your operative procedure. The nasal tip definition has been significantly improved. There is nasal septal displacement creating a nasal curve. There appears to be an in-fracture of the left nasal bone. 
15% of cosmetic surgeries require a secondary "touch-up" procedure to achieve the end result. Revisit your plastic surgeon as you may require secondary revision.
