Path report indicates that there is extension of the nevus sebaceous to the lateral margins (i.e. it is still present). It would need to be excised entirely first with clear margins. This can be done with another excision or with Mohs surgery. Would path report need to show that “clear margins” – no residual nevus sebaceous before addressing transplant through the scarred region. Then, would the scar be examined to see if it is soft enough to have good graft survival? Agree?
