How long after Nose Botox Can I Get Rhinoplasty?

Question

The first surgeon I sent images to said they didn't recommend rhinoplasty for me, but suggested I just get botox in the the nose to prevent the muscle from pulling down the tip & causing a droopy look. I want to try this out as the procedure is cheap with no down time. If it doesn't adequately fix my issues I'd still want to seek rhinoplasty elsewhere. How long after botox in the nose (depressor septa muscle) would I need to wait to get rhinoplasty surgery?

We usually inject a few units of Botox to treat the depressor septi muscle, so the effect will go away after a couple months. After it wears off you can get a rhinoplasty.

Thank you for your question. It's safe to have Rhinoplasty surgery after Botox injections to the nose. Botox dissolves in about 4 months, therefore Botox injections will not affect the results of your rhinoplasty surgery.

I would say until the Botox wears off, maybe 3-4 months.  It probably doesn't matter that much.  There is more to it than the muscle in terms of surgery.  The secret to preventing drooping of the nose with smiling has more to do with tip projection.  I would have to see your nose too explain more.
