Liposuction & GLP-1?

Question

How soon after liposuction procedure can you take mounjaro? Small procedure, arm lipo, all medications are completed and all incisions are healed

Generally, you can begin taking it shortly after your procedure. Stopping the medication prior to the procedure is the most important. I suggest reaching out to your surgeon and seeing what they suggest you do.

I don’t have patients stop it for these procedures especially because it’s performed under local anesthesia. If everything is healing well and they want to start it, I give them the green light. Check with your surgeon.

Your surgeon knows your condition well and has preferences on when and what to use for faster healing and recovery.
