Lipo of back- looks worse 9 months post op. Still fat or loose skin? (Photo)

Question

Had Lipo 360 & bbl 9 months ago. My back had some fat taken out but now it looks like I have more fat in that area. I thought it might just be swelling but it has just gotten worse as I’ve healed. I wore compression garments religiously for 6 months. Is this loose skin? The rolls are way more noticeable and I feel like I look WORSE than before. How can I get rid of this?

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Liposuction 360 typically does not include the back and it looks to me like your back was not treated.

It’s impossible that you’ve gained weight since the procedure? The skinfold on the back bra roll is a skin fold and does not represent subcutaneous fat. That sending it can be improved with well done Liposuction to some degree.

Personally I view the torso as a single anatomic unit and treat the entire torso when doing Liposuction of the abdome and. This means including the entire back and underarm area together with a Abdomen 360.

Follow up with your provider and discuss your concerns with him or her. Alternatively schedule property in person second opinion consultations. If you do that you should bring proper before and after pictures and a copy of your operative report. If you don’t have before and after pictures and those are available to you from your provider as well because they’re part of your medical record which you are entitled to.

In the end skin folds or a skin issue and while they can be improved to Sam degree with Liposuction they are not related to skin distribution but instead to a loss of skin elasticities or skin laxity from age, weight fluctuations etc.

Hi and welcome to our forum!
From your before and after photos, I note that the skin laxity of your back has increased following liposuction. 
During pregnancy or significant weight fluctuation, the elasticity of the skin of the back has been altered due to stretching from added underlying volume. The problem here is not fat excess, but appears to be skin excess.
An upper back lift may be required to eliminate this laxity. 
Revisit your plastic surgeon for evaluation and discussion.
