I have skin blanching around my lip lift scar when I stretch my philtrum, should I be concerned? (Photo)

I'm unable to get in touch with my surgeon so I'm asking this here. My actual scar is very thin and hard to see, but when I stretch my philtrum out, part of the skin around the scar turns white. What is the cause of this? Will it ever go away?

A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. You may be a candidate. I would need a photo with your mouth relaxed. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
