I think I have a bit of lower face heaviness, but unsure if it's due to strong masseters, flat cheeks, buccal fat, or a combo. Would I benefit from masseter Botox?

Answer: You can test your own masseter muscles! The masseter muscles are one of the strongest muscles in the body. When you clench your teeth, you should be able to feel them protrude from your face. Answer: Candidate for masseter Botox Hi Lacey K.! First of all I am sorry that I cannot give you the best answer since I have not seen your face in person and the angle of your face in both pictures are somewhat different so I cannot precisely analyze your face at the moment. I do see some masseter muscles on the first picture. Yet masseter muscle botox doesn't really help with lower face heaviness unless you want a slimmer face on the lateral sides of your face. The lower face heaviness that I see from your pictures can be seen in your jowl area. If you are concerned about your jowl area heaviness/sagging - since the lower face contour is not smooth like the picture of you smiling, then I do not recommend masseter botox at times since it can lead to more sagginess especially when you are worried about your jowl/lower face contour. Also if you are concerned about your jowl area I would recommend EBDs and threadlift with a small amount of filler(chin and cheek). - Yet all of these recommendations can change if I do an in person consultation ! Sorry!I hope you go to a physician and do a consultation in person so he/she can provide you with the treatments that are suitable for you!Hope this helped ! Good luck.
