This should resolve after about 3 months once Botox wears off. I would try another treatment in the future. This most likely won’t happen again.

The risorius muscle sits directly above the masseter and helps to create a smile by pulling the corner of the mouth outward and upward. When Botox relaxes this muscle, it will temporarily affect the symmetry of your smile as it limits the ability to smile widely on the affected side.
