3 weeks post op tummy tuck.i got wound separation and necrosis. I feel so terrible.my PS keeps telling me it will close on its own, but this is the biggest wound i have seen in this forum.I only do wound dressings. It gets worse everyday. Do i need a skin graft because it is too big? I go to her clinic 4x a week and do hyperbaric. She said it is good for wounds but it is getting worse. Can you please give me your opinions.i'm begging you. Thank you

Thank you for your question! For the first few weeks after having a tummy tuck procedure, it is recommended to splint your stomach with a pillow when coughing or sneezing to relieve some of the pressure and strain to the abdomen. Best of luck!
If there was a serious problem with the muscle repair not being adequate, your stomach would never be flat. the fact that you tend to get some swelling over the course of the day is not that unusual. i think it is likely that everything will continue to improve for at least a year.david berman md
