Is it normal to have results uneven on lower abdomen? I had my bra fat area done as well where I was told I was asymmetric in that area. My abdomen is not hard or lumpy. It's just more fuller on one side.

If you only had your lower abdomen treated then what you are seeing is the love handles that are still remaining. This is proof of how well CoolSculpting removed fat from your lower abdomen. You need to follow up with your provider to compare your before and after pictures. You may have swelling, or pre-existing asymmetry. Rarely, results can occur unevenly. You need to wait 3 months to make an assessment of your final results. Best wishes.

It can take 3-6 months for final results after Coolsculpting. You may still have some swelling, which can be asymmetrical.  I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. The reduction of fat in your lower abdomen has accentuated the appearance of remaining fat in your untreated love handle areas. It does not appear to be Paradoxical Hyperplasia as it is soft and not in the treated area. Go back to your treatment physician for an exam. Best Wishes, Maurice Vick MD

Coolsculpting uses a method called cryolipolysis (fat freezing). Once the targeted has been treated it goes through a process called apoptosis (cell death), which typically happens a few days after the procedure. After fat cells die, your body naturally filters them through the body. 
The process of elimination can take anywhere from 3-4 months to complete. Immediately after treatment you may be swollen for a period of a couple weeks or longer. Initial improvement can start to be seen around 3 weeks post-treatment. At four weeks your body is still eliminating dead fat cells, so it is not uncommon to notice asymmetry of the treated area/s. One CoolSculpting session destroys approx. 20%-25% of the fat in the treated area. Multiple treatments may be necessary for the best result.

You are developing paradoxical adipose hyperplasia which is observed overgrowth of fat cells in the area of treatment. Repeat Cryo treatments can actually make it worse. Traditional liposuction has also been found to be inadequate. The Gold standard treatment is VASER liposuction and Cool Helium skin tightening which allows for complete resolution of your problem.
