I'm unhappy with my new veneers. Any suggestions? (photos)

Hi there,Sorry that your veneers turned out less than ideal.  Veneers on the two front teeth are always the most crucial when it comes to appearance.  The slightest cosmetic imperfections can make them look fake and bulky.  I recommend having them redone.  Since you have already spent your money with your current dentist, you should give him an opportunity to correct their appearance.  If the second time is not a charm, then you may want to find another dentist that has great before and afters, so you'll know what to expect.  As far as getting a refund, it depends how long you've had the veneers.  I encourage you to just talk to your dentist is a pretty nice way and I'm sure you two will work out a reasonable compromise.  Good luck and I hope this helps. I hoe you got to see hte planned veneers on a model of your teeth before they were done or got to look at them in the mirror before they were bonded on, so that you could approve or not approve them. I agree with you, they do not look the most natural. Usually I would say to write down everything you would want differently, have your dentist do a wax up or model of what they would look like so you can make changes at that time, and then to use that wax up as the guide for the temporaries so you have a chance to wear them and make changes. Since the dentist says they will come out the same way, he may not be open to this. I would then ask for a refund and find a dentist who does good cosmetic work and have them do what I listed before. This way you will have a better idea of what they will look like before you have them redone. Good luck
