Are EasySmile Veneers a scam?

Hi, thanks for taking the time to view my question. I am interested in getting veneers on 4 of my teeth. I contacted several dentists in my area and one of them suggested the use of "EasySmile Veneers". I've been doing a bit of research on it and it seems too good to be true. What do you know about them, are they a scam? Thank you.

Hello there,Before investing any amount of money into EasySmile, I would recommend asking a few questions:Are the veneers warrantied or guaranteed not to fail?If so, for how long? (1 month, 1 year, 3 years?)  What are the veneers made of?  (Porcelain or plastic composite?)Do the veneer require any prep work on my teeth?Answers to these questions will be very telling.  The veneers that I place are all warrantied not to fail for 10 years, but are expected to last 20-30 years with proper care.  They are porcelain with no plastic composite components, and they require prepping of the teeth, which is why they last so long and should never fall off . Good luck and I hope this helps. EasySmile Veneers do seem to good to be true.....a veneer that does not require filing down of your tooth, so you get to keep all of your healthy tooth structure; a veneer that you can see a preview of with a Preview Veneer in 2 minutes so you can decide if you like the result, before you make the decision to purchase and move forward with treatment; a veneer that takes only one short visit to complete; a veneer that is very natural looking, blends in with the rest of your teeth, and does not look fake; a veneer that is strong and stain resistant; a veneer that will last a long time with proper maintenance and occasional touchups if and when necessary; a veneer that is very affordable and much less expensive than traditional porcelain veneers.  A veneer that when patients see their results for the first time, their comment is most frequently "WOW";  a veneer that continuously gets rave 5* reviews from patients.  Whew, that is alot to live up to, but all of the above statements are true.....I have been providing EasySmile Veneers for the past two years, and it is definitely not a scam.  At this time, it is not a very well know treatment, as it has not yet been branded for the public and other dentists to be aware of it.  This is actually a shame, because it is the BEST KEPT SECRET IN COSMETIC DENTISTRY TODAY!  You can do a google search for its founder, Dr. Harvey Silverman, a cosmetic dentist from the Cleveland area and also for EasySmile Veneers or you can go to the EasySmile Veneers facebook page.  These sources will give you plenty of information  as well as  before and after photos of EasySmile patients and video testimonials from patients that have had the procedure completed.  You can also read Yelp and Google reviews from satisfied EasySmile patients by going directly to the Yelp or Google sites and searching for reviews about EasySmile veneers.   If you are considering porcelain veneers or dental bonding, you should definitely look into EasySmile Veneers.  And if you are a dentist, you should call Dr. Silverman today and learn how you can provide this treatment for your patients.  It makes cosmetic dentistry much more affordable and you will see a much greater acceptance of cosmetic treatment that you propose to your patients.  You do not have to sell EasySmile Veneers, patients want them when they see their Preview Veneer, which only takes 2 minutes to create.  They really create a WOW experience, and that is not a scam!
