Should I get a trichophytic brow lift after endoscopic brow lift 7 months ago? (photos)

There is a degree of relapse with all browlift procedures but the trichophytic ( subcutaneous browlift)  is an excellent procedure to raise the medial brow.  I call it a facelift for the brow. It is a safe procedure and can give excellent results. There is an anterior incision in the hairline and for some patients this can be objectionable.  It is my favorite procedure for the brow.

It seem to be some improvement after your brow lift; there is no significant activity of your corrugator/procerrus muscles which are pulling medial eyebrows down? Repeating endoscopic lift using existing incisions and fixation with Endotine plates would be my choice; I see no need for open approach in your case. In person evaluation and discussion about your goals is recommended. Good luck.

In my hands, an endoscopic browlift will lift the brow less than one cm.  If you would like it raised higher, consider an open approach.

and its fallen down, does your surgeon not have a revision policy that allows you to have this again?  Forehead incisions on men are some what risky as any hair loss will reveal your scars.  Yes, a scar can be put just above your brows but if this doesn't heal well and smoothly, are you okay with that?  Since you've had a browlift already, I would look into your surgeon's revision policy since you should take advantage of it if you have relapsed... and your surgeon needs to find a better way to secure your tissues so it won't fall again.

It appears that you have ptosis (levator dehiscence) as well as low eyebrows. I believe that you need ptosis repair to open your eyes. The brows may be elevated at the same time with a direct brow lift. I would recommend seeking consultation from an oculoplastic surgeon to assess the eyelid muscles. Obviously the first surgery has not achieved what you desire, so it is wise to get multiple opinions, including appropriate assessment of the eyelid levels. Best wishes.

Yes, a trichophytic brow lift can be performed after previous endoscopic brow lift but I would recommend that you obtain a consultation with someone skilled in both techniques prior to making a decision. It is difficult to truly understand the desired contour and height by photos alone. One downside to a trichophytic lift is shortening of the forehead (distance between the hairline and eyebrows). The photos you provided show that you have a relatively short forehead already therefore this is something that needs to be considered. Doesn't mean the surgery can't be done but you would need to discuss this with your surgeon. Good luck and hope this helps.

The previous endoscopic brow lift will not influence a trichophytic hairline incision procedure. Consult with a surgeon experienced in this technique so you clarify the brow position and contour that you want.

Dear Thunderbolt10, I would suggest seeking some consultations with experts in the field and after an in office evaluation a proper surgical plan can be put into place. Different surgeons use different techniques with their procedures. When I perform and endoscopic browlift I undermine down below the malar region and lift the muscle, tissue and skin together in one unit. In many patients I use a screw fixation that is removed at day ten allowing the patients a remarkable result with no tell tale signs of surgery. See examples in the link and video below.
