Sleeping on my back is fine. Sitting is fine. But! It's that first transition in the morning after sleeping on my back all night into an upright position that feels like gravity is ripping through my chest muscles. Then, I'm fine again. Normal? Does that ever go anyway? It's Day 5!!
Answer: First time sitting up each morning hurts, post breast augmentation with lift, when will this pain go away? Especially when breast implants are placed under the chest muscle arising from bed can cause significant pain. However as her activity level increases the pain usually goes away. Your plastic surgeon can advise you when to begin pectoralis muscle stretching which will help speed recovery.

Answer: Pain after breast augmentation The pain you're experiencing after your procedure is very common amongst patients after breast augmentation. The muscles in your body are still swollen and inflamed and you are still in the very early stages of your recovery. The pain should gradually diminish over time and will get better, but if you have any concerns about the level of pain you are experiencing moving forward, don't hesitate to contact your surgeon to address the reoccurring issues. Best of luck!
