Is it okay to start taking arnica pills before my Lipo and BBL surgery?

Regardless of what you've read, or even heard from plastic surgeons or elsewhere, Arnica Montana and other homeopathic substances have failed to prove efficacy in well controlled scientific analysis. Countries like Australia have banned the sale of all homeopathic products. The fact that some of my colleagues still sell this in their offices or recommend it is shameful and embarrassing. With regards to supplements, there are none that will 'help you heal' any better than your body can without them, assuming you are well nourished. It's a myth to think that we can 'supercharge' our body's functions by the addition of vitamins that we already have enough of. Worse, there are certain vitamins, homeopathics, and 'natural herbal products' that can affect blood pressure and blood clotting and can adversely affect the outcome of your surgery. Be smart and stop all supplements, do not take Arnica, and stop taking hormones (if you're on them) well before surgery.

every plastic surgeon has his own preoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.
