Why does my skin feel like it's burning after liposuction? I'm 6 weeks post BBL.

Dear Bettie Jane,abnormal sensation and burning feeling can occur after a liposuction. It is usually caused by nerves which are regrowing and it usually resolves within a few weeks or months. If you are concerned, I would suggest you to consult your plastic surgeon. Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS

Hello, good afternoon, thanks for your question, burning sensation is normal after liposuction, while you're recovering from the procedure, you will be sore, you will feel burning sensation and you will be full of liquid for at least 4 months. After that period, you will keep feeling that sensation. But it will get even better with time.
