Dear Bettie Jane, abnormal sensation and burning feeling can occur after a liposuction. It is usually caused by nerves which are regrowing and it usually resolves within a few weeks or months. If you are concerned, I would suggest you to consult your plastic surgeon. Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Society of Plastic Surgery

After that period, you will keep feeling that sensation. But it will get even better with time.
I use a system from Wells Johnson where the liposuctioned fat is captured and then transferred using an airtight system where the fat is never exposed to the environment. This system has dramatically improved fat graft take in my practice
