Sculpsure is a non- invasive treatment that treats fat on the outside of the abdominal wall. This treatment would be perfectly safe and have no effect on your copper IUD. Best wishes!
Yes, you can have Sculpsure with a copper IUD. Keep in mind, with Sculpsure, a combination of treatments is needed. I recommend combining Sculpsure with Vanquish and Venus Legacy/Exilis Ultra treatments. We currently use a fire and ice treatment with Coolsculpting and Vanquish for good results in fat removal. However, a VASER hi definition procedure would give you the best results with fat removal, contouring and definition. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer
SculpSure can be safely performed on the lower abdomen on someone who has a copper IUD. The heat from the laser will not penetrate to the depth of the IUD.
Thank you for your question! Since Sculpsure directly targets the subcutaneous fat, it will have no effect on your intrauterine device. You can be very comfortable going forward with Sculpsure, knowing it is safe to do with an IUD in place. Best wishes!
Thank you for your question! The Sculpsure laser does not penetrate deep enough to affect any other structures. It is specifically designed to target, heat up, and destroy fat cells. Sculpsure bypasses the skin and muscles to solely penetrate fat. Sculpsure is FDA approved and is proven to be a safe technology. The IUD would not be reached by Sculpsure. I would say that you should definitely do a treatment. You have nothing to lose but your fat!
Go for it! Since the IUD is located inside your uterus and the SculpSure laser is only able to penetrate the the fat layer under your skin, you are completely safe. Have fun and happy sculpting!
IUD (Intrauterine Device for Birth Control) is in no way affected by a SculpSure laser that's penetrating centimeters into your fat on your arms, abdomen, flank or thighs. At no time will it ever affect your uterus. It's a body contouring laser a reduces fat in a localized area. With that said give it a chance!
SculpSure will not impact the IUD at all. It's affecting the subcutaneous fat cells only. It is very safe in this situation.
An IUD will have no ill impact on a sculpsure treatment. The laser only targets to a level of 3 centimeters below the skin surface, therefore anything deeper is not in any way at risk. You are good to go!
Hi, Sculpsure is perfectly fine for you, the IUD will have no affect at all.The Laser in Sculpsure was designed to target fat that lies right under you skin. There is no deep penetration. Go for it and enjoy your new sculpted body!
Thank you for your interesting question! As a board certified Gynecologist AND Cosmetic Surgeon, I of course focus in on the word "menopause." First of all, let me say that any fat that lies between the skin and the muscle ("subcutaneous" fat) can be reduced with SculpSure or CoolSculpting (...
Thank you for your question. It should not affect the treatment if you had a small amount of wine to drink the night before. Wine may dehydrate you if had too much of it and it may prolong redness, swelling and bruising after treatment which are normal skin reaction. Make sure to drink lots...
Thank you for your question. To achieve the optimum results you should be in a zone 4 score during your treatment regardless of what setting you get to. This is where you would feel pinching, prickly, pressure with longer peaks of moderate deep heat and cooling and...
