In my opinion, it would be okay to have some wine the night before a SculpSure treatment, but you should know that alcohol can cause dehydration, so you should make sure to drink plenty of water before your treatment. It is best to be well hydrated when you have your SculpSure procedure. It may be best to check with the physician who will be performing your treatment, as they may feel differently.
Thank you for your question. You should be ok to have a glass of wine before your SculpSure treatment. Please consult your provider and always make sure you seek treatment from a board-certified dermatologist.
based on almost 4 years of experience, I do not believe alcohol to be of any concern with one exception: you must have an accurate sensation and awareness of skin sensitivity when having the procedure done to avoid “injury“. It is very safe, and unless diminished sensation from alcohol is a problem, it is of no concern.
Hi,If drinking a glass of wine is your daily routine, then you can have that glass of wine before bed. It's just not a good idea before any procedure to consume large amounts of alcohol. Just make sure you eat a good breakfast and keep yourself well hydrated the next morning. Best,Dr. Huo
You do not have to avoid drinking alcohol before your SculpSure treatment. Just remember that alcohol is NOT a hydrating fluid, so you want to make sure you counter your alcohol consumption by drinking plenty of water. The better hydrated you are, the faster your body will clear the dead fat cells after your SculpSure treatment. This is certainly true after the treatment, but it's also a good idea to come into your treatment well hydrated.Good luck!
there is no reason why you cannot have a glass of wine or a beer the night before Sculpsure. Of course, you don't want to get trashed, but there is no reason why a drink or two, the night before, should be a problem. Make sure you are well hydrated with water before your procedure (but not so much so that you have to go to the bathroom during the quick 25 minute procedure) and I recommend that you eat something before your procedure. david berman md
Thank you for your question. To achieve the optimum results you should be in a zone 4 score during your treatment regardless of what setting you get to. This is where you would feel pinching, prickly, pressure with longer peaks of moderate deep heat and cooling and...
Using sculpsure for improvement of lipomas is not indicated. Liposuction of the lipoma can sometimes improve the appearance but the best option would be to surgically remove the lipoma as a whole. Be sure to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon before undergoing any treatments.
SculpSure has an indicator sound and light when it is not properly set/attached which would make it obvious to both your tech and you if it was set improperly. Sculpsure should be monitored and manipulated as necessary during your treatment and although there is not a great deal of work to be ...
