Is SculpSure safe on lower abdomen if I have a copper IUD?

The procedure you describe most likely has nothing to do with the bloating, unless you were given heavy doses of antibiotics, which is unlikely.&nbsp; I would pursue other causes and not focus on the surgery.

I had surgery almost 2 years ago now, I have a stomach that is very bloated all the time. I look in a range from 5-8 months pregnant. My husband sees what I eat and says that their is no way with the small portions and often skipping meals it cant just be normal weight gain. The surgery was done by a board certified doctor, it included cutting a kite shaped area out of the back wall and stitching the muscles back together all the way up inside and also decreased the vaginal opening size as well.

You are correct, treating multiple areas at a single setting has not been shown to dramatically alter efficacy.

I am wondering if treatment of multiple areas at the size time compromises the ability of the technology to either kill fat cells or the body to clear them? Say (1) abdomen and flanks and (2) legs treated on the same day. Based on my understanding of physiology, I don't think "zapping" more fat should limit efficacy at all, but I wanted to hear the thoughts of physicians here. Thanks in advance!

Sculpsure/non-invasive fat destruction - Does treatment of multiple body areas at same time hurt efficacy?

I am encouraged that you&nbsp;are seeing definite improvement.&nbsp; In my&nbsp;practice, about 10% of patients need additional treatments to achieve their goals.&nbsp; It may be you need to ask your doctor about follow up treatments.&nbsp;There are some situations where the discomfort may not be 100% resolved, but a substantial improvement can be a great benefit.&nbsp;

Not having and don’t plan on having intercourse. Have had relief from discomfort since having all 3 treatments but I thought the discomfort would be gone. It comes and goes. Have had discomfort 3 days straight but like I said it does come and go. Doctors your thoughts please. Has done wonders for my bladder and the treatments have helped but I thought would be better.

Part of the efficacy of the SculpSure is the reabsorption of the destroyed fat cells and that is based on an inflammatory reaction.&nbsp; The general recommendation is not to use any anti inflammatories for 6 weeks after the procedure.

I have severe arthritis in my knee and take Meloxicam to help with pain. I had sculpsure a week ago, when can I resume this medication. I have to do a second treatment in another 4 weeks.

So I had Vaginal rejuvenation as well as a perineal repair. I am 4.5 weeks post op, I was curious if it was safe or okay to have an orgasm without penetration?. I’m one that has them during sleep at times and nothing has been inside the vagina but wasn’t sure about actually climaxing.

The device is set up to have an interrupt cycle for various reasons, but you will still get the benefit once it is reactivated.&nbsp; The only time the benefit will not be achieved is if the treatment cycle is prematurely terminated and not restarted.

My SculpSure treatment was interrupted 7 minutes into the treatment with a 3 minute cooling phase. Dr was not sure why this happened. After this 3 minutes of cooling, it began to cycle properly again through the heating and cooling. I believe 3 extra minutes were added on at the end of my treatment to make up for this. Since the treatment was interrupted, was it still as effective as a 25 minute continuous treatment? Thank you!

MonaLisa Touch is currently not officially approved for Lichen treatment, however numerous studies have shown a positive effect.&nbsp; I suspect many of these clinical trials will soon be presented to gain approval by the FDA.&nbsp; My own experience has been positive when treating Lichen with the MonaLisa laser.&nbsp; It often takes more treatments than just for menopausal atrophy, but the results have been encouraging.

I'm in my mid 20s and was diagnosed with Lichens Sclerosis 2 years ago after consistent tearing during sex (at the 6 o'clock position internally and externally). I have been going to a pelvic PT for my tear and use dilators but I still tear during sex or even when I'm stretching out the skin. The tear is tiny but enough to make sex super painful. Because of my anxiety with pain during sex I haven't had penetrative sex for 2 years. Would the laser treatment help my tear?

The key for you is checking to see the actual cause of the discomfort.&nbsp; That may only come from an exam.&nbsp; It may be MonaLisa related or it could be from something completely different.&nbsp; If it is from the MonaLisa I have used Aquaphor&nbsp;cream or lidocaine gel.

I developed a itchy and swollen vagina after my second MonaLisa treatment: what's the best thing to use?

Most folks don't have significant discomfort for this length of time.&nbsp; Because the sensitivity of the tissue is different, there may be some variation, but I would get checked to make sure nothing else is contributing to the discomfort

Had 1st Mona Lisa Touch treatment internal and external 4 1/2 weeks ago and still experiencing external discomfort. I had less discomfort before treatment. Is this normal? Very apprehensive about future treatments.
