Hello Hello1024.There's no reason for you to avoid Dysport when your surgery is 24 hours later. Best wishes with both procedures, Dr. ALDO :)
In my opinion, there would be no problem having a Dysport treatment the day before undergoing foot surgery while under anesthesia.
there is no reason why you cant do this treatment when you have surgery as it takes 2 weeks to fully kick in anyway. best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for your question. Yes, it is safe to have Dysport injected the day prior to foot surgery. Typically, Dysport requires a few hours to bind to its site of action. Therefore, having anesthesia the next day shouldn't affect your results. Best of Luck!
Thank you for your question. It is perfectly safe to get Dysport® treatments the day before having foot surgery and being placed under general anesthesia. The product should not have any effect on the safety of the surgery, nor should the surgery interfere with your results. I do not recommend facial surgery the day after injecting a product into the face so as to not cause the product to drift, but in the case of foot surgery, you should be fine.
There is no contraindication to Dysport and general anesthesia. Generally, a neuromodulator like dysport requires a few hours to bind to its site of action, so having a general anesthetic the next day shouldn't affect your results. Good luck!
Thank you for your question. Having Dysport shouldn’t affect your foot surgery. However it’s always best to get a in person consultation from a board-certified dermatologist.
Yes, it is safe to have Dysport injected the day prior to foot surgery. It takes 2 weeks to see the full effect of the injections.
Dysport can be safely used to treat facial wrinkles one day before undergoing anesthesia. There is no contraindication to using botulinum toxin and anesthesia together. In fact, in some surgeries, botulinum toxin is used medically and injected while the patient is asleep. Hope this helps!!Johnson C. Lee, MD Plastic Surgery.
Thanks for your question. A dropped eyebrow (brow ptosis) can occur after Dysport treatments - it typically occurs when Dysport is injected too low or when too much Dysport is injected to the forehead muscles. Dysport typically lasts about 3-4 months. Communicate to your injector your conce...
These areas are generally evaluated for the strength/size of the muscle prior to determining the amount that will be necessary. The desired amount of movement after the treatment is also necessary to discuss, but here are a few averages. Eyebrow Lift = 2-5 U Botox / 6-15 U Dysport Frown...
Great question and thanks for the photo! It's hard to tell exactly what happened with your injections without knowing you as a patient, or at least before your treatment. In general, if an injector only immobilizes one muscle, the body does this neat thing where it recruits other...
Thank you for submitting before-and-after photos to help understand your concerns. I agree that your left eyebrow now looks higher than your right and overly peaked ("Spock"). "Spock" eyebrow can be corrected by injecting additional Dysport or Botox into the frontalis muscle above the peak of ...
It is highly unlikely that a patient would have zero response to Botox or Dysport when injected properly in the proper dosage. Some patients require more units than others, but this dosing varies from one person to the next. I always tell my patients that their lines will not disappear imm...
Thank you for your question. This is most likely caused by poor injection placement. Having a slumped lower eyelid and a bag in the cheek can result from weakening the lower eyelid. This should get better as the Botox wears off in 3-4 months. I recommend having this evaluated by an expert...
