Hello: on average, how many units of Dysport would a person need for the following: Forehead lines Frown lines Crows feet Eyebrow lift Dimpled chin Under the eyes Just an average number of unit. Thanks

The areas of the forehead, frown and crow's feet would generally need more units of Dysport than for lifting the eyebrows, treating dimpling in the chin and under the eyes.  I would say an average amount for the forehead, frown and crow's feet would be 50-60 units per area.  For the other areas, it most likely would be much less.

Thanks for your questions. Number of units vary from person to person. It is better to have an exam and a formal consultation. On average, I might use 10 to 20 in the crow's. Maybe 50 to 60 in the frown and possibly 40 to 60 on the forehead. Men usually need more than women.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO

This will vary due to the severity of the lines and is difficult to answer without pictures. Keep in mind, deeper lines and under the eyes will need a combination approach with Dysport and fillers, lasers and microneedling/prp. However, for an eyebrow lift you will need 6-15 units, the glabella (frown lines) is 30-75 units, the forehead lines 30- 90 units, the crow’s feet 15-45 units and the chin 6-18 units. The number of units per person is very individualized based on the size of area that will be treated, severity of wrinkles, and the amount of movement a person would like to maintain. For our average patient, we usually use about 100-120 units of Dysport to treat the areas you listed above. For first time recipients, we often start on the more conservative side, because you can always add moreafter a few weeks if you do not feel the amount was adequate. Good luck!

These areas are generally evaluated for the strength/size of the muscle prior to determining the amount that will be necessary.  The desired amount of movement after the treatment is also necessary to discuss, but here are a few averages.
Eyebrow Lift = 2-5 U Botox / 6-15 U Dysport
Frown Lines/ Glabella = 10-25 U Botox / 30-75 U Dysport
Forehead Lines = 10-30 U Botox / 30-90 U Dysport
Crow's Feet (per side) = 5-15 U Botox / 15-45 U Dysport
Chin = 2-6 U Botox / 6-18 U Dysport
