Smartlipo is laser assisted liposuction, while the Lipomatic device uses what is called "nutational infrasonic liposuction" also known as Tickle lipo. Smartlipo generally takes longer to perform, but may have additional skin tightening benefits. Tickle lipo can be quicker to perform because the vibration of the handpiece tends to speed up the aspiration step. In experienced hands both procedures can give you excellent results.
