If I rub the bump on my nose, will it get down and possibly go away?

I have a bump on my nose it kinda runs in the family but my grandma says if I rub the bone were the bump is that the bump will go down?

Rubbing the bump on your nose will not make it go away. Nonsurgical
rhinoplasty would be able to create a straighter profile and frontal view for
your nose.  The limitation with nonsurgical rhinoplasty is that it can
only add volume, but can not take any away.  By slightly raising the
bridge of your nose above the hump it will camouflage the hump.Seeking
an expert in nonsurgical rhinoplasty will give you the best result in the
safest manner.

The dorsal hump or "bump" on a nose is due to the angle between your nasal bones and cartilage of your nose. Rubbing the bump will not be able to change that area. If you rub too hard, you may even change the texture or appearance of the overlying skin which may make it even more noticeable! A rhinoplasty procedure where the bump is shaved down can be performed for a permanent result.

The dorsal hump is composed of both bone and cartilage which has to be surgically shaved down in order to remove it. Rubbing the nose will not make the dorsal hump go away. For many examples rhinoplasty for dorsal hump removal, placed in the link and the video below

Hi there, sorry but if you rub the bump on your nose, which is made of bone and cartilage, that bump won't go away. Depending on the location and size of the bump though you can have a bit of filler put in to even out the bump. Also if you add a little bit of volume to your lips, it will make the nose appear smaller. See the link to the non-surgical nose jobs I've done for more examples.
