Rhinoplasty expectations? Reality of results? I’ve thought about getting a rhinoplasty since I was younger. My nose is small but never loved how wide and bulbous it is. I’m nervous and can’t decide whether surgery is right for me. Below is a picture of my nose. It’s not terrible to begin with I would just love it more if it were more snatched at the top. Do you think I could get a similar nose to Madison Beer or Megan Fox or should I leave my nose and not botch it?
Answer: Your Celebrity Picks Have two Different Noses Regardless, given your nasal appearance, you could have the pinched tip of Fox or the more natural tip of Beer, but realize they are different. You should get simulated to see what is possible.

Answer: Celebrity nose job It would be folly to think that you could achieve an identical appearing nose of some celebrity if your nose is far removed in appearance at the start. There have been occasions where I have worked on movie "doubles' who had noses that looked very similar to the celebrity they were standing in for, but only needed their nostrils taken in slightly or a dorsal hump lowered. My advice would be to write down the qualities that you like in the various noses of these celebrities and ask the doctors at the consultations if they would be able to make those changes in your nose, and if they think those changes would be appropriate for your face. You have an obvious asymmetry to begin with and may have thicker skin that could even prevent the re-draping and aesthetic angulations to become apparent. I would go on several consultations with surgeons who are very experienced with rhinoplasty and who can show many examples of noses exhibiting results that you are after.

Answer: Is it possible to make my nose look similar to a celebrity? While it is possible to cosmetically improve the appearance of your nose with an artistically performed rhinoplasty that is in harmony with your other facial features, if you fully expect to get a nose exactly like someone else, you will be disappointed in your final result. If anyone promises that you can achieve that exact result, I would be wary. Keep in mind that following the advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell you what to do based on limited photos without examining you, physically feeling the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history, and discussing the pros and cons of each operative procedure would not be in your best interest. I would suggest you find a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) or facial plastic surgeon (otolaryngologist) that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person. Robert Singer, MD FACS La Jolla, California

Answer: Rhinoplasty Showing a surgeon noses that you like is not altogether a bad idea. It’s good because it provides a means of communicating how you would like to look, especially if you can specify what you like about their noses. Just beware that many nudes you see in magazines of models have been photo shopped. As far as you nose is concerned I think you would get a nice result from rhimoplasty.

Answer: Bulbous tip Rhinoplasty Yes. You are a terrific candidate for a rhinoplasty based on the photo. You tip and nose can be reduced dramatically, You need to make sure you convey your expectations clearly to your surgeon. In general, you will not look like a celeb but just an improved version of yourself. The surgery should take about 2 hours and you will wear a splint for 5 days after the procedure. Recovery is easy with nothing more than a headache for 2 days usually. My patients have difficulty sleeping on their back after the surgery but a small price to pay for a great looking nose. Make sure you find a board certified plastic surgeon and let me know if need some recommendations in LA.
