A combination approach will give the most improvement. A combination of Cosmelan, lasers, microneedling/prp, subcision, salt facials. It may take a series of treatments and may need some treatments to maintain. For rosacea, I like a combination approach, using lasers (ProYellow, Pulsed Dye/Vbeam, Excel V(, BBL)), peels and botox to the cheeks. This makes dramatic changes in color and symptoms. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an acne scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Thank you for your question. I would not recommend regular microneedling in patients with Rosacea. However, our Radiofrequency Microneedling treatment will improve your sun damage and scarring while also potentially improving your rosacea. We have a protocol for Rosacea treatment that will help prevent flare ups. I would recommend an in-person consultation and examination with an experienced physician where a customized treatment plan can be created for you. Hope this helps!
Morpheus8 is by far the very best of all the radiofrequency treatments and does so much more than any other one. It can coagulate telangiectasia of rosacea as well as improve scars and sun damage.

Hello Justicia,I have never seen our INTRACEL RF Microneedling Device make scarring worse. For acne scars it helps reduce the scarring. I don’t know how significant your scar is as I don’t see a photo, but I would not be concerned at all about increasing scar.
The answer is no, RF will not dissolve filler. I recently published an article regarding this in Dermatol. Surgery. The reason is because the filler is stable, even if exposed to high temperatures for over 10 minutes. RF will only heat the skin for less than 0.8-0.3 seconds. Dr Davin S. Lim
