Do the results of microneedling RF on stretch marks and scars remain permanently? Or does this treatment require maintenance visits to maintain results?

Answer: Profound RF Thank you for the question. Without pictures its hard to say what you are referring to. If its scar tissue or stretch marks they can be lightened with RF microneedling and eventually can be cleared and then won't need any more treatment. But in general RF microneedling depending on the treatment type can need a second treatment in 2-3 years.

Answer: Microneedling There is no technology yet that can completely remove a stretch mark without surgical removal such as through a tummy tuck with a hidden incision. I feel that the best approach is to do combination therapy with microneedling and PRP to restore collagen into the stretch mark and fractionated laser or RF to help tighten the dermis and collagen to bring the edges of the stretch mark closer together and make them less noticeable. It is best to have an in-office examination to determine the safest and most effective therapy for your skin. Hope this helps!!
