I am 4 weeks post op and I noticed a bit of redness and puss on my incision . I just wanted to make sure this is normal as my doctor gave me the ok but it just doesn’t seem right . 415 cc , silicone under the muscle . Thank you

means you've avoided all the big complications.  What you are seeing is likely spitting sutures that form small abscesses around the suture that eventually erupts like a pimple and the suture is 'spit' out.  The wound then goes on to healing without problems.  But you should see our surgeon for confirmation and for recommendations on wound care.

It is likely that an absorbable suture beneath the skin is spitting, that is trying to extrude through your incision and attempting to form a suture abscess.  Please see your plastic surgeon who can remove the sutures and correct this problem very easily.  This is not uncommon.
