I just had a revision rhinoplasty. I had a lot of scar tissue removed (thank goodness!), and I'm wondering if doing red w/ near-infrared light treatments early post-op might stimulate the development of more internal scar tissue than it would by not using it? (b/c the treatment stimulates collagen production) Should I avoid it altogether for the first 3-6 months? I know it helps w/bruising, but I'm more concerned about inadvertently stimulating more long-term internal scarring. Thank you!
