My understanding is that infrared is a little safer in terms of not harming fat. As far as I know the only infrareds are Titan, Skintyte, and the Exilis infrared-only head piece.

There isn't going to be a huge difference between the different types of RF or infrared in the end result. That being said, there may be one that could be recommended for a specific person based on their stats, goal, etc. I would recommend getting a consultation with a provider to see what would work best for you specifically

Thank you for your question. I have had four presently have all of the devices that you named. Essentially, in my opinion heat, whether from an infrared or radiofrequency source will all have the same effect on tissues. The trick is to get the heat where you want it and of a sufficient temperature for a sufficient amount of time without burning the outside of the skin. The infrared devices usually deliver the heat through a cool device head allowing the heat to penetrate deep into the dermis. Similarly, radiofrequency devices such as Exilis can be done without cooling to treat the skin or with cooling to treat the fat. All things considered, all of these devices have  similar outcomes. Hope it's helpful.
