I got Exilis a few days ago and I have little red marks that have not gone away. Are these burns? (photo)

From your photo, it appears that the Exilis hand piece was not making constant contact with your skin resulting in minor burns, along with an incomplete session. It is important to have constant contact to achieve desired results. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.

The marks on your photo are related to minor burns caused by incomplete adherence of the energy delivery plate that is in contact with your skin during Exilis treatment . The plate is circular but not flat; the surface is curved like the exterior of a circle or sphere and certain amount of pressure is required to achieve a proper skin-plate contact. These are temporary and will resolve soon without a trace.
