Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
Thank you for your question in regards to Exilis. Exilis is a non-surgical procedure which uses radio frequency that penetrates your skin and causes fat cells to shrink and skin to contract and become tighter, creating a firmer and more youthful appearance. Collagen production is stimulated in the process, and you’ll continue to see the effects of collagen remodeling and increased elasticity long after the procedure is finished. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.
Thank you for your question. It has been my experience that treatments with Exilis can help tighten the skin. Exilis, in addition to ThermiTight and Profound RF, utilizes radio-frequency (RF) energy which gently heats the skin promoting collagen stimulation and, in turn, results in some tightening. It would be best to consult with a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon who has extensive training and expertise with RF technologies in order to determine if you are a good candidate.
We offer the Exilis in the office which promotes collagen production which in turn tightens the skin. The Exilis can also be set for additional fat reduction at the same time if that is the results you are looking to achieve.
The Exilis Ultra has the advantage of both Radiofrequency and Ultrasound technologies. Sophisticated cooling allows for treatment of various layers of tissue from the dermis to a depth of 25 mm for subcutaneous fat reduction. When less cooling is applied it can target skin...
Thank you for your question in regards to Exilis treatment. From your photo, it appears that the Exilis hand piece was not making constant contact with your skin resulting in minor burns, along with an incomplete session. It is important to have constant contact to achieve desired results. To ...
Thank you for your question in regards to Exilis treatment. You will not ruin your chances with results of Exilis if doing a prior treatment. Although, between the two treatments you had mentioned doing prior to Exilis, be wary of achieving desired results. Non-invasive procedures can be costly,...
