Exilis treatment without fat loss. Is it actually possible?

One is used only for skin tightening, while the other can be used as a combination of skin tightening and fat melting depending on the settings. Exilis is a Radiofrequency (RF)treatment. The newest Exilis  (Exilis Ultra) is a combination of radiofrequency and ultrasound. It works better than either modality alone for skin tightening. Radiofrequency alone (as in the BTL Vanquish ME machine) is enough for fat reduction alone. The best Exilis machine has two different heads. One is a smaller tip that is best for smaller areas such as the face and for skin tightening alone. The larger tip or head is for fat reduction or skin tightening on body parts other than face. The large tip can drive the radiofrequency to a deeper area than just skin level by cooling  off the upper layers as it heats the lower layers. This effectively reduces fat without tightening the skin. The machine operator should adjusting the intensity and cooling factors of the machine multiple times during treatment to get the most desired effect for each particular area without causing you pain. 

The Exilis Ultra has the advantage of both Radiofrequency and Ultrasound technologies. Sophisticated cooling allows for treatment of various layers of tissue from the dermis to a depth of 25 mm for subcutaneous fat reduction.
