Should I consider using q-switched laser treatment for discoloration of skin following beard transplant? (photo)

I received a facial hair transplant approximately 11 months ago. Since the surgery I have had a lingering purplish/brown hue in the recipient area. The color has subtly improved with time but not much. Based upon my own research I believe this is either Post-Inflamatory hyper pigmentation or possible even hemosiderin staining. I have received feedback that the doctor went too deep with his implants although I'm not sure if this was necessary related to the discoloration.

If your doctor prescribed it they made the best decision they had based on all information. Any agreements or disagreements here are less well informed and so should be taken with a grain of salt. Hopefully you trust your doctor enough to believe in their instructions.

Yes your head is too dry. The washing should be done correctly .Please contact your clinic or surgeon and ask for an advise and please follow them.
