I am 36 with generally good skin, but have one area with quite a bit of laxity on my neck. Would this be something that PRP could help? If not, what are other options? Thanks in advance

Answer: PRP For Neck Laxity The presence of banding down the front of the #neck, and, amount of excess skin and condition of your skin are among some factors which determine what treatments will best rejuvenate your neck . During an in-person examination, your chin will be evaluated along with the neck and jawline. A weak #chin implies a lack of chin support for the skin along the neck line. In younger individuals a chin implant alone is usually all that is needed to improve the appearance of the neck. Subsequently, it will also improve the overall #balance of the face and can create the illusion of a smaller nose. As a stand-alone procedure, chin augmentation can be performed in the office under local #anesthesia. For individuals with signs of #aging in the neck, a chin implant added to one of the recommended procedures above, will provide optimal results.A board certified plastic surgeon should evaluate both your anatomical features and aesthetic goals to suggest which procedure best suits your needs. In some cases there may be more than one option to choose from. If you are not a candidate at the time of your #consultation, your board surgeon can recommend non-surgical alternatives to address your concern.

Answer: Neck Lift: Treatment options What you are seeing is separation of the platysma (neck muscles). This is not just skin. The muscle edges are showing up through the skin. My suggestion is to consider treatments that address muscle. The most conservative nonsurgical treatment will be Botox. The only other treatment that I would suggest that you consider if botox does not help is a neck lift, which can be done under local anesthesia through a small incision under the chin and possibly incisions behind the ears. Laser and energy devices will help tighten the skin. I have not found them to be helpful when it comes to addressing muscle bands. The best way to know for sure is to have an in person consultation with a board certified facial plastic surgeon who performs all of these procedures daily. Tweet

Answer: Would PRP Help Neck To reduce the laxity on your neck, I recommend that you try InMode's Forma or Fractora to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Following the treatment some redness will appear in the treatment area but dissipate within a few hours. One or more treatments may be needed but it is non-invasive with no down time. Both treatments revitalize the collagen in the skin and leads to a smoother texture. Find a board certified plastic surgeon or board certified dermatologist who has invested in this equipment and has before and after photos of patients showing skin improvement using these procedures.
