Hello and thank you for your question. A formal evaluation would be needed to determine the best treatment. There are both surgical and non-surgical options to correct this, depending on your exact situation.

For less significant issues, there are nonsurgical treatments: To give the eyebrows a nice lift, we use injectable fillers to improve the eyebrow, upper eye, forehead and temple. A filler is placed on the bone and in the fat pads of these areas to contour and lift without it looking overdone. We use cannulas to limit pain and swelling.

Surgery (browlift and/or upper blepharoplasty) is a great option for more significant improvement- for example if there is more substantial eyebrow drooping. I suggest getting a consultation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert, or an aesthetic facial plastic surgeon like Dr. Donald Groves; we are both located right here in Los Angeles.

Given that you appear to be quite young, we would first try to achieve the appearance that you like, which is a result of opening up your eyes and resetting the position of your brows, with a neuromodulator. If this did not achieve as aggressive an effect as you desired, or you wished to make this change more permanent, we would then discuss performing an endoscopic brow lift.

For the look you are trying to achieve I would recommend a temporal brow lift which will open up your eyes and lift from the lateral sides of your face. This will give you the "pony-tail lift" look at all times and give you the confidence I think you are looking for. The procedure can be done under a light sedation and the incisions hide beautifully inside the hairline. Downtime for the procedure is about a week and eventually the incisions become completely imperceptible without anyone ever being able to tell. Going forward, I would recommend you to complete multiple in office consultations with board certified experts to discuss your ideal aesthetic goals. This way, they can better assess your face and create an ideal treatment plan for you.

Fortunately, it’s typically achievable through well-placed Botox injections, which can provide a subtle lifting and tightening effect around the brows. Given that you look quite young, I would recommend trying Botox before opting for more permanent surgical solutions. My advice is to schedule a consultation with a board-certified facial plastic surgeon to determine the appropriate treatment or combination of treatments.

I would suggest using Botox to help lift your brows for now. You are too young to consider facial lifting surgery for now, and your results would be very minimal.

Thank you for the question and photos and though an examination is really needed and discussion of desired results, the simplest approach might be with the use of Botox to subtly raise your brows.
